Cream's 18th Birthday Party

Party like it's ... 1992?

Listings

Cream was born in the 90s, a time of day-glo, whistles and smiley faces and now, somewhat frighteningly, if you were born in the same year as this clubbing legend, you can celebrate your new-found adulthood by attending its 18th birthday party.

Presumably not too many of Itchy's readers were born in a Liverpool backstreet to a crowd of 400 excited revellers on 9th October 1992 (if you were, email us – we'd love to hear that story) but superclub Cream came into being in precisely these circumstances, and now they're celebrating at their (somewhat larger) spiritual home, Nation.

To celebrate its maturity, Nation will play host to none other than lord of the dance Paul Van Dyk, who'll be jetting over from clubbing Mecca Cream Ibiza to play an exclusive 3 hour set that'll set the warehouse space alight.

Relative newbie Laidback Luke will preside over the Courtyard. Hot from his sizzling summer performances across Ibiza, he's widely considered the breakthrough artiste of the Summer.

Funkagenda will set up camp in the Annexe, and Cream Residents Andy Mac, Gareth Wyn, Anthony Probyn, Jemmy and Rob Harnetty will all be there to celebrate this oh-so-special coming of age party.

Hot tickets for this party to end them all are available here, for £25. You can also call the ticketline on 0844 888 4401. To those about to dance, we salute you.
