Aaah, parent–friendly, steak–deal–offering pubs sited just off large dual carriageways. In this case, it's more buffalo–eater than Beefeater, with an American menu that's themed to within an inch of its life. Despite the potential to drown in Americana, the place does a reasonable job of recreating the US – the food is actually pretty damn good, with excellent fried Camembert and fajitas you assemble at the table.
