Everyman Theatre Bar
Hot and smokey but worth putting up with as this is one of the finest places to spend an evening anywhere, never mind Liverpool. You'll find the Everyman unpretentious, dressed down and full of arty types, actors, poets and musicians getting slowly drunk on red wine. Plus, the food is fabulous and they often have DJs spinning northern soul classics or acoustic music nights for your listening pleasure. The bar staff are Prozac-cheerful and the raspberry beer is fantastic.
