Retro Cafe Bar

The white tiled walls, yellow plastic shelves for propping you and your drink up against, and the chrome bar top mean that you can feel like you've accidentally wandered into the changing rooms of a public swimming pool. The smell of chlorine is, however, more likely to be cheap aftershave. Where the name comes from I really have no idea, as the tunes seem to be mainly from the last two years. Retro bar doesn't really get going until after 10.30pm, by which time, I'm assured, it's buzzing –but I've never felt inclined to hang around long enough to find out. Pretty inoffensive, but unremarkable.
