The Cavern Pub
The dated celebrity photographs of musicians from the past forty years are the only source of pleasure that can be derived from visiting here, and then it's probably only to laugh at eighties shots of Phil Collins. Apparently all the people on the walls played here, around, on top, down the road, somewhere close... probably. It doesn't really matter. It's a miserable experience, whether you visit during the day or at night. You'll see no-one in there during the daytime, except for the occasional poor American couple whom accidentally wander down the stairs thinking they're about to enter a place which is a celebration of The Beatles and Rock & Roll. At night things don't get much better. There's no reason why everyone in here should be having fun, so they won't be.
