Penny Lane

One of those warm and cosy pubs which look like they've been there for an eternity, where one day, if you play your cards right, you could get your own tankard behind the bar. The walls are covered with the obligatory memorabilia and Beatles tunes play in the background. Surprisingly – given the Penny Lane location and name of the bar – this isn't a place designed purely for the tourist trade, but has a very good reputation locally as a decent place to eat and drink, especially on Sundays when they serve traditonal roasts. Very comfy, inviting and popular, Penny Lane Bistro and Wine Bar comes highly recommended by the itchy team.
