Without a doubt one of the best pubs in Liverpool. Go out for a mid–week pint and find yourself singing busker's classics with alcoholics who used to be accountants. There's a fine cross section of life here –and a friendly atmosphere too. The décor is the best bit –with everything from Bakelite radios hanging down to a toy ET behind the bar. Forget to shut the outside door at your peril –PK's does have a code of conduct –which also involves tips for the characters behind the bar and respect for the landlady Rita, who hates to see feet on chairs. Also hosts a decent quiz night.
