Ye Cracke

The first thing everybody finds out about this pub is that it's the place where John Lennon used to drink when he went to art college. It might have cracked lino in the back room, but it's a top little pub with loads of interesting characters, and some good beers too. The best bit is the mysterious little room right in the middle of the building –a room within a room, that's circular and can be very cosy. That is, of course, if you manage to shoehorn the locals out. Don't forget the permanent doubles bar too at £1.80 a time, and the beer garden is well, urban but popular.
