Cabin Club

The chap who owns and runs this club first took over in, wait for it... 1952. Blimey, well that explains the décor then. Spread over two floors, which can hold a total of 365 happy party people. On the ground floor you'll find those who like to boogie to pop music from the 80s and 90s, and in the basement you'll find those that just can't let go of the 60s and 70s Rolling Stones era, and trust me, most of the people in the Cabin were there the first time around too. No sign on the outside, it's the white triangular building opposite the old church. In no way is this place 'cutting edge' but it's a very friendly little club, with a great atmosphere and perfect for getting totally legless. Don't bother wearing your best clobber.

Hi, Just wanted to update you with regard to the Cabin Club Liverpool. Our club opening hours are 9:00pm until 3:00am. They are no longer 10:00 until 2:00 as advertised by yourselves. We also now have live music every Friday (Kappa) and Saturday (Marvelous Medicine Band). It would be great if you could come along and review the club to give your readers a more accurate opinion of where we are at now. Hope to see you soon. Vicki

I went to the Cabin Club in Liverpool for the first time on Friday. This is a great place. The place is like a Tardis and it was like going back in time. The people there are so friendly. I was chatting to the bloke and girl on the door and they were telling me about the history of the club. It was so nice to get such a welcome. The band downstairs were great too. I can't believe I haven't found this place before. I will definately be going back. Everyone should go. Linda x

Many, many years ago, 1977 in fact, my friend Jean Ferns and I were almost the resident two blonde barmaids at the Cabin Club when Brian was in charge along with his sons Keith and Clive. Keith on the door with Brian and Clive as the DJ. Great times, went back to Liverpool recently and took a photo of the outside, no changes there, I suspect the inside is the same, stand too long in one spot and you having difficulty leaving it! Thats cos of the sticky floor. Glad to see that it is still going strong.

Gosh! amazed! can't think of any other words. I frequented the Cabin in the mid-sixtes, I thought it was owned by a Mrs Winsor. Had some great times in there with verios girl friends. Was based at Burtonwood, the music and booze was great, seems from what I remember it was quite a clean place. Kept the place a secret, did'nt want all the guy's going there. Great memories!
