The Grafton

This club is situated just outside of town. If you're a local you'll know The Grafton because it's where your Mum's parents met, your Dad was conceived, your parents had their stag and hen–night, your brother had his first proper fight and you threw up all night after too much Hooch. And you know all this because everyone was talking about it on the family outing there last Friday night. If you're not local, you may well know all this anyway because you saw it on tele. Made famous by the fly–on–the–wall documentary, but infamous already, The Grafton is a good old Northern night out. No pretensions, no sophistication, no underground funky music, and no one cares.
