Too classy for the city centre this place. It's great for an intimate meal, with log fires blazing in winter, sparkly lights and friendly waiters. It gets very busy, especially on Valentines Day, so if you're really ugly you can always just apply for a job here. This is modern French food so there are excellent vegetarian options. Save some room for the deserts –especially if they have cr?#153;me brulée or lemon tart on the menu. If you want to sample L'Alloutes stylish surroundings for less, on Sundays they do a set menu with three courses for around £12.
