Café M
Remember that Littlewoods café in your hometown, with hospital–esque counter service and permanent blinking fluorescent strip lighting – that you feared may induce epilepsy –? Well, Café M shares the same wipe–clean, cling–filmed ambience. With careful use of teenage boys' bedroom colours — blue, green, red and orange – also incorporated into the staffs uniform — fetching apron and hat –, Café M tries to create a warm glow to it's interior. You can buy your sandwiches from the friendly staff, there's a bowl of plastic fruit on the counter and it's next to a car–park. I'll quit while I'm ahead.
