Taste

The gallery's café — but it deserves more credit than that. It's owned by the same company as Blue Bar and Grill and has the same attraction of stylish surroundings combined with delicious food. The coffee and cake here is rather scrummy, but the 'proper food' is where Taste really comes into it's own. At night the café turns into a nightspot, bar and restaurant. Attracting a mixture of drinkers and diners, there is a lively atmosphere — a cross between a restaurant and a bar. Spread over two floors, in a stunning building with wonderful views over Albert Dock, Taste is definitely worth a visit in its own right. A good place to pop in for Sunday lunch.
