Unsigned local bands performing original material only; you're more likely to see bands just starting out – soap dodgers aplenty – although the odd gems do emerge. In the basement of an Irish theme pub at the office end of town, drinks are served in proper glasses instead of the usual plastic wobbly things. Only a couple of quid to get in and open seven days a week.
