Philharmonic Hall
Strictly speaking, this should be the only gig venue in Liverpool. After all, it's the only place that treats music seriously. Musicians are respected and decently paid; there's no 'pay to play' and they have a decent backline, so to speak. The venue is clean and beautifully lit, the acoustics are perfect and all gigs are well advertised. The musicians can get rid of the boss if they feel like, as happened with the unfortunate Gerard Schwarz saga. It's a shame the music's a bit old.
