The blue half of Liverpool hasn't had much to shout about since the mid 80's, and even then Liverpool were still winnning virtually everything in sight. Evertonians are a loyal bunch though, and they still pack out Goodison Park, unsure if they're going to watch them beat the league leaders or suffer an embarrassing cup exit by a lower division club, such is the fickle nature of the current team.
