The Magnet

As hip as a man with two bikes, the Magnet is a lush looking club that attracts serious clubbers and casual trendies. Its cool can be a little overwhelming at times so you need to make sure you actually do have friends before heading down there. The main music events happen downstairs and are usually the classy end of R'n'B, dance or indie. The dramatic stage, expansive floor space and excellent sound can make for great nights when the music is just right, and it's worth keeping an eye out for the odd Leftfield legend at a bargain price.
