Café 53
As suggested by what we feel is an unnaturally early Sunday opening time, this is a café primarily aimed at the maturer market. It feels a little like a quiet tea shop in a picturesque village, so it can be a bit of a shock to step out onto funky, bustling Bold Street. That's not to say we don't like it. It's never too busy and you get table service, and the food is rather fantastic in an upmarket greasy spoon sort of way. Frankly, it's wasted on old people.
