Hardy's Café and Grill
To the untrained eye, this is fairly indistinguishable from all the other takeaways selling grease in various forms on the already densely-populated Hardman Street. But there is a big difference here: they do curries as well. Okay, maybe not that big a difference, but there has been an effort to make it a cut above: the seating has a classier feel than the usual plastic tables and seats. The food is also better prepared, and doesn't feel as though it's been shoved in a fryer for not long enough. Good food late at night on Hardman Street? Who'd have thought?
