Le Boulevard

A sprawling, open plan mess of a place, designed especially to ensnare passing shoppers laden down with purchases, Le Boulevard can be a godsend if you're all shopped out. A restful pit-stop on a long day's journey into retail, you can grab a nice cuppa or something a bit more substantial and listen to the fruity tinkling on the grand piano. The food is standard English fare, nothing too exotic, but that's beside the point. As with Dr Livingstone, all great shopping expeditions need the equivalent of the clearing in the jungle, and this is Liverpool's own.
