Tea House Café
Very popular - and oft imitated, see below -
Chinese café with a justified reputation for high quality food. The interior can be a bit off-putting, with gaudy religious prints and what sounds like David Icke's CD collection droning away in the background. But the food is heavenly and wide-ranging, especially if you enjoy the veggie alternatives (we recommend the Tofu with ginger and spring onions). There's also lots of English dishes for culinary cowards and some exotic drinks, including one that is a coffee/tea mixture. Strange, but strangely good.
