Bistro Jacques

Some say that the restaurant trade is a bit like playing Russian roulette with your money. But slower. And no one dies. So the owners of this Frencher-than-French bistro are dicing with the devil for opening a restaurant in a culinary blackspot that has seen off quite a few businesses in recent years. Traditional gallic paintings, wooden benches and accordion music abound, and the defiantly French nouvelle cuisine is quite wonderful.
