Bistro Pierre

A little piece of Paris relocated to the Cavern Quarter, complete with more French clichés than an episode of 'Allo 'Allo. Red and white checked cloths, check. Wine bottles serving as candleholders, check. Waiters dressed in hooped jerseys clutching french loaves, okay, not quite. The food is as cheerfully unpretentious as the decor; nothing too fancy, yet damn tasty, relying on natural flavours rather than over-seasoning everything.
