Ego
Hope Street has recently become the home of elegantly fine restaurants, and this Mediterranean eatery is a perfect example of how to do it with balance. Large, but still quite intimate; busy, yet the food still looks and tastes like someone's paid it a lot of care and attention; high quality, though surprisingly cheap, especially if you go for one of the special offers they frequently have. As the name may suggest, Ego has a right to feel pretty pleased with itself.
