Korova
Liverpool's coolest hangout is also a pretty nifty gig venue and bistro, as well as being a club. This small yet hardly intimate room is a tad too bright for the serious business of clubbing (ie getting off with a stranger who you are unlikely to meet again), so there's recently been a faintly misguided attempt to put more DJs upstairs in the main bar room, which is better placed for amorous conquest but sadly provides little or no room for dancing. Regular nights include Evol on Fridays, and Riot on Mondays, but there's usually something going on most nights.
