The Cali
Or 'Boodha@Cali', as the sign above the door says, although this may be one of the many remnants of a pub once called The Caledonia, reinventing itself. It's tried many things over the years: banging DJs, washing machines, cooler-than-thou avant garde. Nowadays, with its poorly-looking pot plants, rickety furniture and Eastern trappings, it feels like a seedy colonial club from the 19th century. Strangely, this suits it perfectly, as this is a place much loved by the area's more 'bohemian' drinkers, drawn by the DJs playing most nights.
