The Roscoe Head
Not to be confused with the Roscoe (that's round the corner), this is one of those back road places that can often only be found with the aid of Sherpas. Inside, you'll find a tiny pub with three tinier rooms; one of them is so small there's no room for chairs. Pleasingly old skool in its reliance on decent beers and traditional décor, it even has those buttons on the walls to summon the barstaff, although with its lack of music and space, a discreet cough would suffice.
