The Slaughterhouse

The Slaughterhouse is a dream of a pub - situated on what was once the site of a real-life 17th century slaughterhouse, it's supposedly the oldest boozer in the city, and of course comes complete with an impressive quota of ghost stories to justify the claim. But don't worry, there's nothing frightening about the place these days - the atmosphere, prices and bar staff are full of enough charm that you probably won't even notice that fact that it's a chain pub, since being bought by Irish booze kings, O'Neills.
