Masquerade Bar

Bangin', multi-roomed, multi-levelled gay bar that's as brash and noisy as one of Elton's legendary party nights. Voted Best Bar in the North by rainbownetwork.com, and presumably by a reviewer who's not a pipe 'n' slippers person, this specialises in the outré end of the gay lifestyle, with plenty of splendid-looking drag queens, glitter everywhere, soft focus pics on the wall, glow boxes and a permanently loud PA system. Has drag and cabaret on the weekends, karaoke on Tuesdays, and DJs most other nights.
