The Lisbon
A long-standing Liverpool gay pub, buried away in the basement on Victoria Street that caters for all comers in a friendly way. There's very fancy old worlde décor throughout, with amazingly intricate decorations on the walls and ceiling; even the ceiling fans are ornate. There're comfy couches with lots of secluded little corners, friendly staff and a pool table, although beware the lesbians who regularly play it: they're good. The perfect place to meet your mum. Provided she isn't homophobic.
