As essential stop off point of any tour of the Liverpool gay scene, this enormous one-room place is all lights and blasting house music. As bizarrely seems to be the way, this is also a popular target for hen parties - as well as opportunistic straight blokes who're clued up about the large amount of uninhibited women that may be there, feeling the need to net themselves a potential husband just like their mate has - so it's not quite as gay as it first seems. More's the pity. The decor is glamorous in a modern way, although the prices are going to hit you hard. Thank the lord for good old magic plastic.
