There's a whole sub-section of society who have a hankering for stuff other people have already owned. Whether or not you approve, theirs is at least a fairly inoffensive sort of a peculiarity when you compare it to some of the other 'specialist' interests about, and in the absence of professional help, they can indulge their Arnold Layne-type proclivities in this all-purpose second hand shop, offering antiques, clothing, records and just about anything else that wouldn't quite fit in that cupboard under the stairs.
