Bar Fresa
For years we thought this place would never work as a gig venue. Serving as a (very small) disco with (even smaller) bar, meant that it was hardly all things to all people. However, probably because musical Liverpool sorely lacks venues, someone decided to give it a go. And voila! It kinda works. The Strawberry Bar, to use its English translation, is too bright and too small, but it's perfect for one of those low-rent, wilfully messy gigs that are the grass roots of local music.
