Roadkill
One of the outposts of the growing alternative rock and punk scene in the city, Roadkill is relatively new but has already made a slightly sweaty mark on Liverpool's musical T-shirt. It's a haven for alternative music discos, as well as regular live band nights. It can be pretty hardcore too - legend has it that when American band Sick Of It All came to town, an extended thudding bassline caused quite a few of the audience to uncontrollably produce a rather unwelcome extra lining to their underpants. You have been warned.
