In the middle of the cut throat capitalist hotbed that is Church Street stands this ethical outpost for those who care about what goes in their soaps and cosmetics. Although they may rightly boast that everything is not only vegan friendly but untested on animals, there's no denying that it resembles a deli, with 'cakes' of soap boasting names like Sultana of Soap and Extra Virgin Olive, arranged like particularly pongy cheese. And that's before you get to a black soap called Coalface. Mildly disturbing.
