The Egg Café
Situated at the top of a narrow building up several flights of stairs, in a location clearly not chosen by anyone in a wheelchair, the Egg Vegetarian Café offered us a charmingly unique and colourful location to dine on the bounty of mother nature. Provided said bounty hadn't been grazing lately. The food at the Egg Café was excellent, provided something for everyone, from a veggie feast to the humble cheese on toast. With homemade cakes and an open mic poetry and music night every month, the Egg Café offers a great time for vegetarians and carnivores alike.

13 Jul 2008Come on Itchy, that is terrible research, the Egg is a great cafe but it certainly is not the only veggy cafe in the city!!! For example there is one about about 100 yards from the Egg called the Green Fish!!
