The Willowbank
When is a student pub not a student pub? We're not entirely sure, but it seems to have happened here. With all the trappings of your typical student haunt – quiz machines, quiz nights, plasma screens – but with a clientele more likely to be old men and middle-aged folk who've actually got jobs. Maybe it's the cheery wood-furnished surroundings and real ale on tap, so different from that cold sterility of most student pubs. It is, however, doubtful the regulars really like the generic pub grub (the great taste of value must count for something).
