An archetypal greasy spoon cafe, where the phrases 'vegetarian option' and 'is it gluten-free' are a foriegn dialect. Instead you get a 'fried or fried?' menu of simple British fare; as cheap as chips and served in a décor resembling the inside of a pub more than a caff. Plates nailed to the walls? Check. Framed prints of old maps? Check. Gaudy patterned wallpaper? Checked. It's surprisingly large too, with a room out the back and tablecloths possesing a clear plastic protective sheet for those who get over-excited by deep fried Scampi.
