Billing itself as a 'radical and community bookshop', it is, in actuality, exactly that, but without the bullhorns. Upon entry, its billboard advertising job postings and activist meetings urges you to get involved; the shelves lined with hundreds of local, political, environmental, and feminist books beg you to read them; even the hush-toned staff are part of a workers' co-operative, joined together by the cause, not the profit.
