The Shipping Forecast
Slap bang in the middle of Concert Square area, a new venue has dropped anchor. Shipping Forecast is a smorgasbord of club, bar and eatery activities, opening last year this creaking ship has already got a name for itself amongst the cool cats, students and alternative types of Liverpool. Just take a look at its extensive list of singers, DJs and acts that have already shuffled through its doors. Forecast is a subdued haven of chintzy furniture, nautical memorabilia and alternative sounds. The chow is rather top dollar too; our personal fave is their goat's cheese and red onion burger, washed down with spiced rum. Of course you can bypass the menu and throw some funky shapes over its two floors. Go on, no-one will mind.
