Aloha Bar
Hidden underground, Aloha hardly seems a Honolulan paradise. But beyond the stone stairs, it's a veritable haven of straw, upturned barrels, parrot-painted walls - and more rum cocktails than you can shake a Hula stick at. Try the Volcano. (Drunk at the bar, it's around the reasonable £6 mark. Drunk a metre away, you're looking at a £10 deposit for a ceramic pot. You do the maths.) So the all-male bar staff are decidedly more hippy than Hawaii, but with the DJ spinning retro disco, we couldn't give a monkey's (or, for that matter, a drunken parrot's).
